Beaulieu 8th June 2014
My day started at 7am, I wanted the car to look its best so took her to the wash, got her back home then polished her all over, inside and out.
I had aranged to meet with the Portsmouth and Southampton Mini Owners Club at Rownhams services on the M27 at 8.30 so we left Portsmouth at 8am and made it in plenty of time, took some snaps, had a chat and then headed to Beaulieu in convoy, first time for me, great fun.
The convoy took about 20 minutes once there we entered the Beaulieu site and lined up, placing St. Georges flags on the cars, boards and banners up and then people came viewing all the groups mini’s.
On arrival a chap with his camera took a picture of every single car that enter the arena, they could of course be purchased at a desk later if you liked the picture.
The club set itself up the the entrance and we just looked at each others car, went around the stalls looking at products available and purchasing items needed. Many good offers were available and the day was again very good natured and great fun.
